Yesterday at Dollar Tree I found so much Montessori goodness, I just had to report here!

In the flash card display there is a package of "Pooh's Go-Together Game". On the cover of the box it shows a card with a hammer and another with a nail, so this is how the game goes. These cards are so cute, and there's actually only a couple of cards with pictures of Pooh or his friends. I thought about 3 part cards, but now that doesn't really make sense. I guess you could make a control sheet somehow with an extra set. I haven't figured that out just yet...

I also found nice styrofoam 4 1/2" cubes (for thousand cubes), picture mats (5X7) that I'm going to make landform puzzles with, and little bags of mini pumpkins and gourds for sorting.

For making a control, you can just put various lines on the backs of the cards that match up when he turns them over to check. If they are correct, the lines match up, if not, they dont. You could also just draw a little colored dot or shape on the back that match if he gets them correct.
