Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Who has these? I ordered a set and they arrived today. They're just really different than I expected. I actually thought they came on a mat or some kind of cardboard board that you could lift the pieces from. Instead they're pieces in a box that you put together to get the picture. I don't know if that even makes sense, but I wanted to use the maps like the wooden ones so that they would be readily available to just pick up and work with.

HI Vicki

I've seen these on the internet, and have looked at purchasing them after I bought the Global Puzzle (same brand as the Geo Puzzles), which I found was great for my oldest (13yo), but the pieces were much too small (and far too many in one puzzle) for my 6yo.

I was actually thinking of making up individual trays / backing boards for each of the continents (with brown continent outline and blue for the ocean around it), but haven't got there yet. That's yet another project, LOL!

Perhaps you could make something similar?

I wondered about making up trays too, possibly similar to the wooden puzzles. That way the puzzle could fit into the tray, and it could be left together for better access. Now, if I can just find out how to make the trays, I'll be good to go!
