to spend the next week or two just doing narrations and nature walks and reading whilst I prepare materials and finalize setting up our dining room as the learning room. Then we'll just focus on practical life and sensorial activities for a few weeks after that (per a suggestion I read 'round here somewhere) to acclimate ourselves to the method. I think the kids will really be interested in some of the practical life activities. I appreciate all the information available on this forum. It seems like, as I've gone through posts, that someone has addressed almost every concern I've had myself. That's been very encouraging. You're all so dedicated and helpful to eachother. Perhaps one day I'll be brilliant, too, and can share something beneficial! Peace.

BTW...yesterday I found some small statues at Wal-Mart for $3. Jesus, Mary, St. Francis, St. Joseph, etc. We don't have anything like that and I was glad to find them for our religion area. The ones at the Catholic bookstore certainly were not $3.
