Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hey everyone,
I have a 12 year old who will I am preparing for Confirmation over the next two years. I want to do a bible study with her and went to Jeff Cavin's Great Bible Adventure site to do a little browsing!   The site now has a teen bible study available--I think it is geared mostly for parish/group study and it's pricey--$119. Has anyone used this in the homeschool setting with their kids? I would actually probably do it with my dd but was wondering if I should just order the regular study and skip the teen one? Just looking for some comparison--anyone?
Thanks in advance!

No real help here, my dd12 has to go through the parish program for Confirmation, and this is what we are using. I am really excited about it. I have only just flipped through the manual but it seeems wonderful. I know we both are going to learn a lot in this study.

I saw a 5 minute preview in the office of our youth minister yesterday. It was very entertaining, but looks like it will be very solid too. We are seriously thinking of letting our 8th grade daughter take part in a class based on this at our parish this fall. I worked through Jeff Cavins adult bible timeline last year and thought it was wonderful.

Jennifer, no time now, off to a first decade group (see my prayer request in Living Faith! but...
I might have one to sell to you. long story, we ended up with two - . I did this program with about 13 other homeschool teens and it is a super program. very parent friendly, very easy to lead if you have a group.
PM me if you might be interested in buying, I might not be able to get back to you until tomorrow...

My son watched this series and then we borrowed it and watched it at home again. It was awesome! Can't say enough good things about it.
