Thanks, ladies! I'm pretty excited about it and the kids keep walking by and casting sidelong glances at the materials. JBug asks me daily "is it school yet?" LOL!

Theresa, are your centers set up in different areas of your house, or in the same room? I'd like to have mine in different areas, and I'm trying to figure out spots that would be good placements for them.
Is your geometry section in a bookcase? Like the type you put together from a box? The insets we got yesterday are much larger than I anticipated. If those and everything else will fit in one bookcase, that would be great for me!

Vicki, my centers are spread throughout the house. The math center (and language center and geography center) is in the dining room. The geometry center is in the living room(along with atrium, for now) and there is a small room off the kitchen (used to be a mud room) that we are calling our science room.
The shelves for the geometry center are just a cheap presswood bookcase I got at Walmart for around 20 dollars or less. But I think the black color makes them look nice with the materials. I also had to find shelves long enough for the insets and took my measurements with me to the store.

Well, I got all the way to Walmart without the measurements of the inset trays. Just realized it when I found the bookcases--- which were a very nice price for holding the insets and all.

Oh, Theresa! Real microscopes! I didn't even realize how much I missed those from my working days until I saw yours. What lucky, lucky children you have.
