Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What do you have your young dc use for writing in (copywork)? By young I mean ages 8 or 9 and under? I don't want a bunch of loose papers around and I can't find any good notebooks with wide enough lines for the younger crowd. Regular spirals are just too skinny for my young writers.

Have you checked your newsagent? (Is that what it is called there?) Anyway I found different size line books at my local newsagency. Or a stationery shop?

Nope, not a newsagent . You might be able to use a stationary shop...
I'd take a look in Wal-mart or Michaels, they often have some nice books, and I have found they usually have wide ruled. They also have 'handwriting paper' there. Also these were mentioned on another thread recently.
I usually use notebook paper and keep it in a file folder until I collate it all together in a binder.

I use the paper from Handwriting without Tears and then we put the pages in page protectors and put them in a copywork binder. My daughter is a bit of a perfectionist sometimes , so this helps. If she wants to start over, she doesn't have to rip pages out of something.

I buy packages of extra wide ruled paper at Staples Office store. The lines are parallel to the long side. I hole punch on the long side and then place in a binder - that way they open the binder upwards and the metal binder rings are at the top and not in their way for writing. It seems if the binder is to the left or right it just gets in the way.
