Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It really depends on what type of blog you have. Blogger? Typepad? Wordpress?

after you upload, click custom settings, then size 250. That is all I know. Try that see if that helps.

FYI, I have noticed on a lot of blogs that the pictures are HUGE. They don't need to be so big and the bigger they are the the more room they take (this is important if you have a mb limit and most services do).

Plus it can also mean that some sites take a long time to load (so long in fact that I have avoided them).

I size my pictures to what I want BEFORE I upload them. Any photo editing software will let you do this. It's takes a few extra minutes but then you can just upload and insert.

Think of your target audience too, for instance, my mom is blind as a bat but the size of photos on my blog she can see okay. She would totally NOT be okay with tiny photos at all and she wouldn't take the time to click and enlarge either. It is a balancing act, isn't it?

ETA: I don't mean she is my only audience but she is the only one who calls me rather than leaving a comment.
