If so, do you love it? Is it comfy? What's it called and where can I find it?
All of the ones I have seen in the stores look very "rugged". My husband has one of these for working outside, but I would like something a little less Indiana Jones and more feminine. Any suggestions?

I do, yes.
My favourites, absolute, are the Slogger brand. I got an el cheapo one from Penny's, which is OK. I only got it because DH always complained about my hat blocking his view. I think I am going back for another one anyway  .

Yes, I wear a sun hat I got from this site. You pick the style and the material, and the hats are made of UV protective material. I love mine.

I would love to wear one, but I've got a MASSIVE head. (No smart comments, please!!) I think I'd have to get one made to measure to find one to fit...

Matilda, Calloway's carries some cute sun hats. I have two - no three. I think they run in the mid 20's.

I love my Scala hat. (I had to replace it with an exact duplicate after 7 years of continuous wear here in Arizona.)

I bought the first one from Coldwater Creek. The replacement I got cheaper on ebay.
And I wear it everywhere- in summer I wear it to mass, to shop, to run errands, whatever. It has a tie, so you can adjust the size and not worry if you have a big head or a small head.
Scala makes some great canvas sunhats as well.

I just wear a wide brimmed straw hat, I call it my fishing hat! Dh thinks I look so nice in it. I feel so feminine and love to wear them.

Do the ones at Calloways offer the same SPF protection as some of the other ones mentioned? We might have to stop by there before looking on line?

Fun sites....I love hats, years back when I lost my hair due to cancer therapies I quickly became attached to hats. I have a great collection, I love adding to it 
Elizabeth I have a big head as well, I can however usually find ones that fits me in regular stores. My mother cannot, I feel for you!!!

I kept meaning to answer this! I wear a sun hat, but am in the market for another. We are very, very, fair-skinned in this family and it's so much easier to put on a wide-brimmed hat.
The one I have now is from the Outer Banks, embroidered Scala Hat. Mine is the blue one I've been quite pleased with it, but I hate that it's an advertisement.
My husband wears a Tilley hat, and I was thinking of getting this one for my son.
But for me, besides the Scala, I was also looking at Shady Lady for a sun hat. I like the broad brimmed feminine kind, also, but not floppy brim.

That's why I liked the slogger's hat... it is SPF 50, AND it shaded my face nicely
My only complaint is how I wreck my hats with sweat stains... if anyone knows how to get them out of straw hats...
