Hi Everyone,

Well, I went for my 38 week visit this morning, and my Dr. said my blood pressure was up somewhat. I have to go to have a non-stress test as well as a measurement of the amniotic fluid volume this Friday at noon. Please pray that everything goes well and that my BP goes down (and preferably stays there!). I have not had a good working relationship with my healthcare providers during this pregnancy, and everytime I go in, I feel nothing but stress and agitation, beginning the night before my appointment at least. Please also pray for a safe labor and delivery for the baby and myself, hopefully free of any more complications (including this horrendous stess/anxiety that seems to have dogged me throughout the entire pregnancy).

Hi Everyone!

I just got back a short while ago from the non-stress/amniotic fluid level test and it went well, the baby is looking healthy. My BP, also, was much lower (by about 25 points) than when the Dr. measured it the other day, and I am hoping it will now stay lower. Thank God, and thank all of you, for your prayers! I really, really appreciate them, and so does my dh and dc. My oldest son, age 14, has been very concerned about everything with the baby and me, and he is feeling much better now. I have to go back next Friday to repeat everything again, assuming the baby doesn't come before then (I am praying that she will!).

Thank you all again and I will contiue to keep you posted!
