Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello,

I have a question about Spell to Write and Read. A friend of mine said it was a reading program, mainly, so for up to 3rd grade only. Another friend says that it is a through high school spelling program. I don't know so I said I'd try to find someone who does.
Along with this then, do any of you use it and/or have opinions one way or the other with this program?
Thanks!

God bless,
Christine

We use it and I would agree with your second friend if the program in question is by Wanda Sanseri.

We have used it for 3 years. I started it after the child was reading and had a basic grasp of phonics. I like how they make a notebook filled with examples of spelling rules. I have learned a lot!

Yes, it's the program by Wanda Sanseri that I am talking about.

Thanks for the input

Nicole

Has it made your children proficient spellers?

We use it. My daughter is in Kindergarten so this is our first year. It's a spelling program that teaches spelling with reading as a by product. If you start in Kindergarten, the program will take you about 4yrs or so to finish up. Afterwards though, your child will be spelling at college level. You could start at any age though.

We love it! My daughter is not yet reading but she is mastering her spelling lists. It's amazing and as long as i keep the lessons fairly short, she is happy.
