Is anyone from there or more familiar with the area than I am (I've been there maybe five times)? We are planning to move there about as soon as we can from Fairfax County. My husband sometimes works with a Catholic father with a really nice homeschooling family who lives there, so we should have some more help than from a real estate agent in figuring this out, but any additional input about the neighborhoods would be welcome. We can only afford up to the mid-$200k range, maybe $275k at most, so I'm concerned about misjudging the desirability of a location based on price. Also, does anyone know if any residential areas were/are affected by the contamination described here: http://www.epa.gov/superfund/accomp/success/avtex.htm

I'm especially interested in the more "in town" areas, though not ruling out others -- I don't drive and although I was planning to learn when we moved, I am not sure if or when it will happen.
