Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My family will be moving there soon. Any information about the area, suggestions or advice is most welcome. Thanks!

Nah- still looking, but I'm trying to figure out where the Catholic HS activity is going on there. Every time we go up to look at houses I feel so confused. I would love to talk to a local other than my real estate agent.

Melinda, I'm about 2 hours from there but I do know there is a very vibrant Catholic HS group ( at least 1). They came to our parish for a pilgrimage and I have the contact info. for the head of it somewhere here. Our interim pastor is very close with many of the families.

I'll try to find the info. and get back to you by PM ASAP.

:-)

No help to offer, but my family just relocated to Holly Springs, NC about 7 months ago.

I will keep your family in my prayers as I understand the stress of house hunting when you have no clue were you are.

Rely on St. Joseph, he has always found us the perfect home! However, he is patient so we must be too!!!!!

Betsy

P.S. I think I am about 3 hours from Wilmington, if there is anything I can do from that distance let me know. We are always looking for a new road trip!

Here is the information for the local Catholic homeschooling group. One time I called them and they were just having a meeting on the beach. How neat is that! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NCCCatholic/?yguid=139844479
Enjoy the area....it's just wonderful!

I'm about 1 1/2-2 hrs from there, so I can't give you any advice, other than to tell you that there is a good Greek restaurant down there. LOL. That's what I really remember from my one trip down there several years ago.
