Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

You may remember my dad had a recurrence (his 3rd) of lymphoma. Today is his second treatment and he could use some prayers. Last Tuesday, the treatment went well, but then he had some frightening side effects in the afternoon--uncontrollable shaking, nausea, dizziness. It all passed by the next day, but it was really tough on him and my mom. Any prayers for an unexciting day would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your poor father. I am so sorry he is going through this, and I will pray for him, especially today.

Molly,
I am glad treatment went better for your dad this week. I do remember the chemo rollercoaster. Your dad has been in my thoughts and prayers.
I have been trying to discern lately what type of volunteering to do with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We are going to put together a Light The Night team to walk at Ida Lee Park on Sept 24.....are you interested?
I am still trying to decide if my bum leg and I should train for a half marathon with Team in Training. Carter has helped them out with a few of their campaigns. This past weekend he escorted the Hall of Famers at the Bobby Mitchell Golf Tournament.
Does your dad have a CaringBridge page? It is such a great way to share information with family and friends with out having the phone ring off the hook . The web address is
Caring Bridge
Carter's page is Carter

Wow, Mary Chris, Carter's page is incredible. For anyone who hasn't visited it yet, bring your tissues!

We have a wedding on Sept 24th, so the walk is out for us. But, I am interested in helping in any way that I can.

Bless you,
Molly
