I really have to thank you ladies for such a wonderful community. I have learned so much in the last few months from the posts, blogs, and links. I didn't register for many months but something finally made me realize I wanted to "talk" with you and contribute to a great circle.

I feel like I've been floundering with homeschooling these last 2 yrs and with family these last few months and recently I feel like I'm seeing the "light"
Part of it is common sense and just "doing it" as Elizabeth wrote in her book and part is trusting my children to learn when they are ready.

Clarity has started to slowly show itself as I read Elizabeth's book and more recently Cay's book. I still have a ways to go but I'm putting one foot in front of the other in the right direction I think.

The return to Montessori philosophies has also been key in seeing what my 2 yr old needs to help him learn and channel some of his boundless energies.

It feels like coming home in many ways.

I will keep you updated on my journey. I hope as I learn and grow that others will benefit in some way as well.
