Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

My long anticipated, impatiently awaited copy of Literature Alive! arrived today. I feel like I robbed bank, considering how stuffed this book is and what I paid for it. Priceless! And I've only skimmed! Thank you, thank you Cay! And now I must disappear and READ!

ETA: Doh! I spoke too soon. I should also send many warm regards and thanks to the many other women here that have contributed to this gem. Best of all, I "know" all of you .

Mine came too! I was trying to read it while the kids played outside but I kept getting squirted and realized that yelling at them not to get the book wet was kind of opposite of the "real learning" philosophy so had to put it away for awhile.
But then I stayed up until 12am reading it
I already have pages marked to look things up and to re-read things I realized I already have like Honey for a Child's Heart.
Thanks for a great resource!

I purchased my Literature Alive at the Catholic HS conference this past weekend in Kansas City and met Cay too! I stayed up last night reading later than I should. It has so much good information! Thank you Cay for putting this book together (and all the other authors who contributed)! Enjoyed Cay's presentations at the conference as well.

Yes, this is a VERY dangerous book to read at night, isn't it?
