Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Welcome Tanya! If you search in the archives using the term "MUS" (Math U See) in the search box, you'll find many discussions of this program from those who have used it.

I used Scott Foresman when ds was younger. We had a lot of fun. The workbooks at that age have many manipulatives. I am presently using Shiller with my dd who is 4. I have it for ds who is 9 and she recently wanted to start "school" so I started her in book 1. She loves the "games".
The workbooks like SF are inexpensive and at young ages are usually hands on friendly. They have cut out rulers and counting pictures, etc. Shiller can be expensive but I already had it for ds so am using it.
Enjoy! Such a fun age to homeschool!!
