I just heard on the radio about a program at www.catholicsummerreading.com.
It looks really interesting. Has anyone else seen this, or participated? It's basically a booklist with summaries of several Catholic books, some of which I'd never heard of. There is also a book discussion component, voting for your favorite books, and a sheet to print out for kids to keep track of their summer reading. I didn't see a booklist for kids, but didn't really explore the sight that much yet.

Looks like fun. I signed up. Looks like they are taking votes and the 3 books with the most votes will be the books to be read this summer.

There isn't a book list for kids, but for each Catholic book they read, or are read to, should be listed on the coloring page, and once they reach 12 books, you send the coloring page in and the child will get a "prize" back.
