Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Saw an interesting article on Fox about a Creation Museum being constructed in Northern Kentucky (near Cincinnati). Perhaps this has already made it to the nightly news (we don't have t.v.) but I thought to post the link anyway.
Creation Museum

Our parish pastor, an FSSP priest is also a Dr. in some type of biology I think and has very strong feelings against the evolution theory. He has had several evening talks on the topic and has some very interesting points, scientifically and from the Faith. I thought the idea of this above mentioned museum is very cool even if it isn't Catholic.

Have any of you ever pondered why there is so much dragon lore in stories? What about the possiblity of the 'dragons' really being dinosaurs? This is all new to me so I've been pondering it all from time to time lately. Natural History has never been my strong point, but I'd like to give my children a balanced and Christ-centered pov some day when they are ready.
