Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I read with interest the past threads about the Modest World and the other wrap skirts. I'm a big skirt person and like the looks of these but I'm afraid the Modest World skirts will be too long at 40" (I'm 5'4) and for that price I rather not worry about hemming-esp since my hem will not be as nice as I'd want it! I think 34" would be the longest I could go.
One thing I really like in skirts is pockets. I'm always needing a kleenex, change, keys, etc at the park and I usually don't take my purse-just rely on pockets. Since I don't use a sling anymore with a nice big pocket I need pockets!
I've found a tencel riding skirt I love at LL Bean but no pockets. It's wash and wear and a nice drape. I wear it often but wish it had pockets.
I need an A line or bias cute, I'm the lovely pear shape in about a size 12
Any other ideas with pocket, no ironing, and 34" (or close)long?
Thanks!

I have 2 of the LLBean skirts myself and bought them because they did not have pockets.
The pockets always gap so I just have a trail of tissues following me and I spend plenty of time searching for keys.and my sunglasses.

Would having pockets added be worth your while?
How about behind the side zipper adn on the other side seam. If you had it added behind the double seam (not sure what it is called, see it on demim jeans)and reinforced you would not have much concern about sagging or pulling the fabric.

Would this one fit your criteria?

I have the LLBean bayside twills and love them. They have pockets but the pockets do not gap at all.

I really like this one! Has anyone bought this? Wondering about the heaviness of the denim for summer.
For the price I might have to try it though.

I also check my thrift stores as often as I can but have only found 2 skirts-though one is my absolute favorite because it has a funky pattern on denim and is very comfy.
