For those of you doing Weight Watchers maybe we could share some food favorites?
Off the top of my head are two favorites:
Smart and Delicious whole wheat tortillas are really good and they have an amazing 12 grams of fiber per (large) tortilla! At 80 cal. and 3 grams of fat that's 1 point and even if you aren't counting points that's a terrific amount of fiber (I'm telling you fiber is the KEY to weight loss). The small tortillas are 50 cal. 2 g. fat and 8 grams of fiber - less than half a point.
They ARE pricey but they keep me from eating worse stuff and leave me feeling satisfied so I think they are worth it. They are also available at Giant where I do my reg. grocery shopping, so I don't have to make an extra trip to get them. I see on their website that they have a gluten free variety too.
The other item I wanted to mention was the Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches. They are perfect when I feel like I need a treat and are just 2 points. Oh, and my son brought me home some Edy' slow churned ice cream which has 1/2 the fat and 1/3 fewer calories than regular. The taste and texture is the same! Who knew low fat ice cream could taste so good!? Of course you can overdo it so these are just something for a little treat here and there.

Oh, Skinny Cows are so yummy! I tried the Weight Watchers ice cream novelties but they taste like dirt.
I have been making a lot of fresh fruit smoothies. They are only 1.5 - 3 points each and taste great.
If you like to eat bread the Sara Lee Delightful breads are high in fiber and low in fat and calories. If you have Mrs. Baird's bread where you live, look for the low calorie one. It is only 1 point for two slices and 2.5 points for 4 slices! It is a great way to fill up and it tastes great. You should keep it in the fridge though because it molds too quickly otherwise. Of course we live in the desert and it gets pretty hot so it could just be that.
I know there are a lot more but I am drawing a complete blank. I will try to think of more and post later.
Blessings,
Krisann

I wish I had something to share here. I keep hoping this thread will show up again with more new ideas. Surely other people eat something yummy and good?

My favorite lunch:
Tilapia fillet with broccoli
I spray a bit on fat free spray in my stainless steel pan and cook the tilapia with a generous sprinkle of Old Bay. When it's just about done I add a bit of water to the pan and throw in fresh broccoli to steam. If I have mushrooms I'll add them too (sounds weird with fish I know but it's really very good).
That's it. Very simple and totally delicious!
If you are counting points - Using about a 4 oz. fillet it's 3 points.
OK, back to my lunch before it's cold

I really like quick lunches and one of our favorites is hot dogs.
We buy the Oscar Mayer 98% fat free turkey hot dogs and Sara Lee wheat buns ( high fiber ) Two hot dogs with mustard and relish is only 6 points. We add some fruit or Baked Lays chips for an additional 1 - 3 points.
For dinner we like spaghetti and meatballs. We buy wheat noodles and use Prego Organic sauces. Meatballs (store bought) are usually one point each. So for one cup of cooked noodles, 1/2 cup of sauce, and 5 meatballs would be 9 points. Personally, I use only 1/4 cup of sauce because 1/2 cup is just too much sauce. The point difference is only .5
We go out to eat at Red Lobster and Chili's quite often and both have some great healthy choices.
At RL I usually get the Jumbo Garlic Grilled Shrimp dinner with baked potato, broccoli, and dinner salad. The two skewers of shrimp are 3 points, the potato 3, butter 2, broccoli 0, salad (with crutons 1) 0, dressing 2 (for 1/2 the serving of regular), cheese biscuit 4 (I usually only eat 1/2 a biscuit), for a total count of 12 - 17 depending on whether you eat a whole biscuit, all the dressing, and if your salad has crutons.
At Chili's I usually get the Guiltless Chicken Platter, with a chicken breast, rice, seasonal veggies with parmesan, and corn on the cob. The entire dinner is 12 points.
I have to think about some of the other things we like to make or buy. I will post again soon when I can think of something.
Blessings,
Krisann
