I can't go barefoot all the time - it hurts my feet. I have a nice pair to wear to church, but my feet sweat if I wear them without socks.

I was thinking about these sneaker mary janes from llbean. Can anyone give testimony as to their comfort? Dawn? I know you're a big llbean fan...

I don't have those, but I have looked at them quite a bit, I think they would be great with summer skirts/dresses.

Those are really cute! I don't have those shoes, but I know that socks get really hot! They make some "half socks" or footies, just for things like this. It will help with the sweat and not make your feet too hot. My sister has some with just toes, for slides, and half socks that go all the way around your ankle and leave the top open for the other shoes.

I can't seem to find a link, but I think I have seen them at Target.
