I am safely home from Colorado-thanks for all the travel prayers! Everything went well, and we have a house under contract. Things are MUCH MORE expensive in Colorado!

In reference to this prayer request, the new homeowners are not going to sign. They do not want to be involved. Their suggestion was to buy the house back from them. Since we are moving from Texas to Colorado, a house in Mississippi is out of the question. I've started a novena to St. Jude-maybe they will reconsider.

We are deep in debt. I'm trying not to panic. We are looking at liquidating retirement accounts that we haven't touched yet. I'll be posting lots of stuff for sale, as well as requests for frugal recipes.

Please pray that we get through this. If we add no new debt we can everything paid off in three years. Things will just be VERY TIGHT between now and then.

The stress you must be under--I am so sorry! Know that you and your famiy are in our prayers--for peace, and for help with all your financial matters-- and especially for your sweet baby coming home to you soon. My sil and her husband returned last Tuesday with their 10 month old baby they adopted from Guatemala--his name is Daniel and he is adorable! Everytime I see him, I pray for your little one!

If you have a good library, see if they have the three volumes of the Tightwad Gazette books. They are just packed with frugal ideas of all types.
