My oldest has just twisted her ankle jumping around. It seems pretty bad. I've iced it, elevated it, and wrapped it. Ugh. I'm going to try to get her to the doctor's tomorrow, but appointments are impossible to get. If I don't get one, I'll have to take her to the ER. I'm about to cry

as I feel so overwhelmed with all on my plate. Can you please pray for my dd, Michaela, and me too. OH, and prayers for an opening at her doctor's office too.

. My dh is recovering from a calf muscle pull...these physical injuries can sure feel like the straw that breaks the camel's back.

We were able to get an appointment yesterday. Nothing is broken (whew!) but it is a bad sprain. The doctor said she should be able to dance on it just not do any of the hopping or jumping. Her ballet teacher is fine with that and said she will also tape the ankle before the performance. Now, we just have to make it through the next two days.
