Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

We have been very inspired by the 4Real ladies and have been trying our hand at a lot of nature study. I have been taking pictures around our yard and neighborhood and have made a "nature Notebook" slideshow for my blog.We are having trouble identifying two flowers though. They are the only unlabeled flowers on the slideshow. One is blue, only six inches in height and was blooming while there was still snow on the ground. The whole wood lot next to our church was full of them.(we are in central NY). The other looks somewhat like cowslips but the greenery was not the same and it was growing in the middle of a foot path in the woods. It looked totally out of place.   If anyone can help us we would greatly appreciate it.
