Please pray for Ann and her husband Chris. She is a vivacious caring woman who is quickly losing her battle with pancreatic cancer. Just a few weeks ago she was laughing and joking, with a bird snuggling upon her shoulder. She and Chris have cared for and loved countless children over the years, taking them into their home and making their lives more fruitful and bearable. Lately she has been a teacher and was planning on training for special education. Her sudden affliction has caused her great pain and I'm sure fear. Chris is devastated at seeing her suffer, his best friend and life's companion. Please pray for him also. He is a dear, sweet man who has the most cheerful attitude about life. His grief is palpable, yet he continues to worry about the students in his care.

They were planning on flying out today to Washington state, so she could continue treatment with a special doctor and let her be home near friends and family for the summer. The movers came and packed everything on Friday.

Before they left, Anne took another bad turn, she is in a coma (drug induced, I believe) and it looks like he will only bring her home to bury her.

FYI--Every time someone in my family talks to Chris, he asks about my sister Frannie. EVERY TIME, no matter what.
