Hey y'all, remember last year when my sister was hit by a van a year ago November. Well, now almost 18 months later ... and after months of rehab and doing so well (but still not working -- altho she has been taking spanish classes and tutoring and volunteering) she had a seizure early yesterday morning (1 a.m.) and was in the hospital overnight. She's back home but she sounds REALLY bad on the phone -- almost as if she's had a stroke or something.
Anyway, please pray for her ... she's SUCH a good person and just always seems to get the short end of the stick ...

Thanks for your prayers y'all. They kept her in overnight; seems her sodium levels were WAY DOWN (but they don't say why!) and it caused the seizure. She called mom earlier and sounded much better as she'd had a rest and some real (ie, not hospital) food and coffee and really felt much better. Please keep the prayers coming as they try and figure out why it happened and how to avoid anohter such episode.

Mary, my grandmother recently had a seizure related to low sodium intake. I had never heard of such a thing! I'm praying for your sister and all who are concerned for her.
