Long before we ever decided to homeschool, I knew our oldest ds would be a challenge. After finding a wonderul hs'ing friend close by that hs similar struggles with her dc, I started researching some things. I had always chalked up ds's difficulty as sort of my "cross to bear." Our son is a deep thinker, and he feels things very deeply. He can be so incredibly sweet and sensitive, as he cared so much about being with my mom when my dad died(ds was 3). He wouldn't let her out of his sight. He can also be a real terror. There is nothing in between for him.

On my path to figure him out these past few months, I've some to soem startling realizations about myself. It has been very difficult, and I ca't even begin to explain it at this point. This morning I was hit by something in all of my trying to figure this out, and I am overwhelmed. I dont' know where to go with all of this, and I don't know how to approach dh with all of this iformation.

Please pray for me, for my ds, and for all of us. Thank you.
