Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I think I saw this book on someone's blog, Elizabeth's maybe? Anyway I really love the idea behind what I have read so far. Has anyone here followed this method?
We live in a new residential home and have no compost or barn or anything like that. Is lasagna gardening still possible for me? I think I can buy compost and I am going to start making some for next year at least.
I am just trying to avoid weeding and the tilling. I like the idea of recycling and putting things back into the ground to produce something new.

The lasagna garden originated with Lissa, in the Bonny Glen. She was the first and the first to post about it. We tried it last year, with great results. You can read about it here, but that thread is getting long. It's probably time to have a new lasagna thread for a new growing season!
