Hi Friends,
My husband lost his job yesterday. 3 weeks pay, 3 weeks of insurance. We have medically needy children, that have so many food allergies, it is not easy to eat "cheap". I am in the middle of a high risk pregnancy....and the dermatologist just sent a biopsy this week on 2 areas of my husband's skin, checking for skin cancer. I hesitate posting, because so many have so many greater needs...but I do humbly ask you to say a prayer to the Holy Family for us....we need something to turn around job wise pretty quickly.
Praying for all the intentions on this board as well...
UPDATE--4/30/07--My DH's dermatologist called this morning and said one spot on his skin is nothing, the other spot is a "dysplatic nevi", which from what I have read (went into nurse mode--Googled--read like crazy for several minutes), it is a pre-cancerous mole (which is what she told him this AM), and all of the material I read said this is pre-melanoma....but the emphasis is on "PRE"...so I think it is good news, she is going to take another biopsy, taking wider parameters around the original mole, to make sure she got it all. So--thank you, thank you thank you for your prayers. The phone is also ringing quite a bit this morning with headhunters for the job situation...
I attribute my peace in all of this to prayers of people like you....I tend to panic and be anxious, (and pregnancy hormones do not help that  )

I am so glad that you posted so that we can pray! These are not light crosses or concerns that you carry and you should not have to carry them alone. Thank you so much for posting!
We are praying to the Holy Family for you all -- for peace, health, and a job (soon!) that is perfect for your dh.

Praying for your family's peace and a job and all things to fall into place soon. I am so sorry...I can't imagine how overwhelming all this is during a high risk pregnancy. St. Joseph, pray for them.
