My mother was admitted to the hospital tonight after experiencing symptoms of weakness and disorientation all weekend. A CAT scan showed she has had a mild stroke. She has been admitted to the hospital and awaits further tests tomorrow as to its origin and the reason. Please ray for her.
In addition, Greg has a follow-up check-up tomorrow with a new cardiologist who was recommended by my catholic, pro-life ob/gyn. We are hoping good results as well as a better rapport.
AND....my ankles and legs are quite swollen and I have been experiencing a lot of cramping, signs this baby is not waiting until May 15th... please pray for health and that all these events do not collide in one collosal chaotc moment.  (Me picturing all my family needing to be with Mom, my in-laws being out of town, and my water breaking an hour before Greg is supposed to be at the doctor...it would be par for the course in our lives!)

**********My mom is comfortable and all indications are that she will recover fully from the effects of the stroke. She is awaiting the results of some testing today to see if there are any blockages or other causes that need to be treated. Please continue to pray for her as she recovers.
Greg had a "run of the mill" doctor's appt. with all things appearing stable. Nothing overly wonderful o be said, but no surprises either. I was not able to go with him as my ontractions have stopped but my blood pressure has sky-rocketed and the doctor put me to bed today to wait to see him tomorrow morning. He indicated he may do an amnio to check fetal lung maturity and reschedule my section for this week...please pray for our health. I would like the baby to have as much time as e needs, but I am truly feeling so terrible that the thought of not being pregnant any more and sitting in a quiet hospital room nursing a newborn is hard to resist!
