Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I do not sell Creative Memories!

Last week I bought one of their power palette packs, it has paper, journal boxes and stickers in the same color family. I did 12 pages front and back in one day.    That is more than I have done in 8 years ! So I did ignore my family a bit , and the basement floor still needs to be washed, but that was almost all of 2002 in an album. Anyway, I am totally sold on these power palettes! With them finishing my albums seems a lot more likely!

WOW! I need to do that, too. Did you have the photos already organized?

I've seen these power packs and think they are the greatest thing. Stop the perfectionism and get thee into an album!

Oh... that makes me feel good and guilty at the same time! The 8 years part is a consolation... and I'll lose the guilt and just be glad that you got so much done!

BTW - I don't have ONE album done or started for any of my children. At least they can't say, "You did it one for the first -- where's the rest of ours!"

My photos are a mess. I was looking through piles for what I wanted. The good thing about being so behind though is that I'm not really picky! I'm all about getting the album done.

First of all, I promise I'm not a consultant, nor do I want to be one!!

That being said, if you have any inkling to scrapbook, I'd go the CM route. Your consultant usually hosts a crop night once a month, and if you just take a few hours once a month to do your stuff, its amazing how much work you can get done. Secondly, they have great organizing ideas-- not just stuff, but instead of doing and decorating layout after layout, you organize the photos, then crop them all, then get them in the books, and go back later and do the embelishments and journaling. Finally, the nice thing about CM is that their focus is on journaling, not crazy work of art albums. I've gotten a lot done this way, esp since I"m doing family albums and that's IT!

What I love about Creative Memories is that when I need something, I call my consultant and she DELIVERS it!

If you ever get the chance, attend a power layout seminar (CM class). This totally revolutionized my way of looking at albums and I can usually knock out 2 yrs worth of my back up in a couple of weeks. I'm all about the journaling rather than doing a lot of fancy artwork, so the CM methods work well for me, too. Two thumbs up!
