Just after we've recovered from our furnace fiasco, our van goes on the fritz. We just got the call from the mechanic, looks like it's going to run us $1500. My poor husband is NOT happy about this. And, of course, we just payed the thing off a few months ago. Please pray that doesn't wipe us out completely, we've been working so hard to become debt free, and I know this will be a set back. Thanks all!

Thank you for all of the prayers. Looks like we are on the search for a new van. The repair cost total more than the value. Crummy thing is we just paid it off in January. Ah well.

That happened to us last year too. It broke down one week after we paid it off. It's a rule that it happens that way ya' know.

I've heard this happening so many time! The repair cost would be over $3000, the blue book value is only $4000. Tony just called me and said he located a used one with good milage, a 2006, in our price range, and get this, it is SO RED!!!! That's alot of red!

Clifford the Big Red Van! I like it! (our current van is white, ya know, it blends in with all of the other big ole vans, nicknamed "Boogie Van" by our boys, after some monster truck!" RIP Boogie Van...
