Please pray...I just spoke with my father, and he said that my mother is checking herself out of the rehab facility she's been in for the past several days following her quintuple bypass surgery a few weeks ago. She is in no way ready or able to come home, she can't manage stairs, their house is not suitable for her to come home to in her condition. I can't even explain how upset I am right now, and worried--she's in renal failure with 3x/week dialysis and too medically unstable to come home. My heart is so heavy right now, and I'm very worried that this just be too much for her. I'm sorry if this is rambling...I'm not able to type because I'm so upset, but your prayers are appreciated.

I am so sorry, Noreen! We went through something similar, though not nearly as serious, with my father. It all worked out in the end, and I am fervently praying that the same will happen with your mother. May the Holy Spirit guide!

Thank you all--knowing you are praying has brought me such peace. I'm still not sure how things will go for my parents. I can only hope that the incredibly stubborn Irish streak that got them into this mess ( )will help them through the struggles they are sure to encounter!
