Today at 2:15 (EDT), a dear friend is going to have a lumpectomy. She is young (mid-30s) and has 6 kids (the oldest is 12). It's so hard for me because she is in SC and I'm here and I can't help at all -- except with prayers and asking y'all to pray too .....

Y'all are such wonderful prayer warriors. I just heard that she came through the lumpectomy fine and the cancer is not in the lymphnodes so the prognosis is good....keep praying, if you can, and I'll update as I hear anything...

Thanks y'all - she definitely has cancer in the lump that was removed and will have to start chemo/radiation; she's trying to avoid all pain killers except ibuprofen and a couple of her kids have strep throat so please pray that all works out in God's plan for this wonderful YOUNG woman and her family.
