I just got a call from my mom. My Aunt's 32 year old son in P.R. was bitten by a rat a week ago, and he's body has been shutting down all week. He will be taken off life support at 9 am this morning.  He's the youngest of 11. My poor aunt lost another son 2 years ago due to liver failure. He has 4 children, ages 12-17. I don't think anyone in my family is a practicing Catholic, so he may not even receive Last rights
I am so heartbroken for his family. It's so hard being so far away from them. I have not been able to be there for the last 3 funerals, including my grandmother last year.
Please keep this family in your prayers and the soul of my dear cousin, Roberto.

My cousin's wife refused to pull the life support. She's fighting to have him be put on dialisys, since his kidneys are failing. The medical care in PR is so hard to deal with. Let's pray they make the right decision for him and hopefully he can get Annointing of the Sick.
