Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have been rumaging through one of our bookcases for True Devotion reading and I found one of Phil's books, The Reign of Jesus Through Mary by Gabriel Denis. It is a Monfort Publication.

This book has been blessed discovery, it has outlined a structure of support in living the True Devotion daily.   Has anyone else used this before?   Did they find it supported their Marian lives greatly?   It gives me great peace when I read it.   So solid ~ it seems to outline the fundamentals of living a holy life ie: importance of daily meditation and proper examination of conscience...giving me good inspiration in how I live my life through Mary in my daily living, spiritually and temporally.

The book is broken up into three parts:   Part One is on the Doctrine of the Holy Slavery, a brief overview of what True Devotion is.   Part Three is Spriritual Exercises and Prayers, giving the prayers for the yearly consecration as well as daily prayers to recite.   It is Part Two that I have found very helpful: Application of the Holy Slavery and it is broken into two parts: Spiritual Exercises of the Interior Life and Spiritual Exercises of the Extrerior Life.
