I am copying a message that was posted on a Catholic Adoptive Parents Message Board. Maybe some on here would be interested:

I thought maybe some of you from the Delaware,
Maryland, Virginia,
D.C. area might be able to help me with contact
information or
suggestions for helping to find host families for a
program that will
be running 3 weeks this summer.

We are looking for families to host children from a
Catholic
orphanage in Warsaw for a summer exchange program
between July 29 -
August 17. The children are between 8-16 years old.

This program is a cultural exchange program, not a
program for
families who would potential adopt these children.
The Lord works in
mysterious ways and He may bless a family/child who
may find each
other during this experience, but the intent of the
program is merely
to give these children the opportunity to experience
a different
cultural and experience living for a short period of
time with a
stable family.

If you know of any families who may be interested or
schools/churches
etc that would be willing to post flyers or make
announcements
regarding the program please let me know.

Would this be for families only on the east coast, or would they be interested in families from Ohio also? I might know some interested families in Ohio...

Hi Christine,

I know she mentions Delaware, DC, MD and VA specifically, but it is worth emailing her to ask about Ohio.
