Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

You know, I've posted more prayer requests in the last 6 weeks than I have in the whole year I've been a member of this board...and I'm beginning to feel really needy lately.

So I'm back again, relying on your strength in my weakness as I ask for more prayers.

I have to have my first-ever root canal. I'm terrified. I'd rather have another labor than have my teeth worked on, but apparently it's unavoidable. If I weren't already dealing with kidney stones still floating around, my 3rd UTI in 5 weeks and my daily yeast-fighting regimen (the thrush is gone away but our nursing relationship has suffered badly from prolonged antibiotics )...well, if I didn't have all that, I think I'd be okay. But the dental issues (on top of everything else) has me teetering on the edge of a major emotional release. Just meeting the basic needs of the children is so exhausting lately. I've been trying really hard to stay positive and hold off depression, but Satan is working hard on my spirit. I keep looking to Jesus and I'm trying to accept this suffering graciously. It helps to look at my sweet baby's smiling face. It's then that I know Our Lord is reaching out to me.

Thank you for praying for me.

Praying, Kristine! The dentist is never a favorite topic for me. Keep your spirit up.

Kristine, you certainly have my prayers. We've had lots of teeth issues lately ... they are never fun. I had a root canal done years ago and if it helps at all to know, it did not hurt one bit. The novacaine pinched a tiny bit, but after that there was no pain.

Praying here! I have had kidney stones and a root canal, and MANY yeast issues, so I can sympathize!

Christine, I can totally relate to the labor comment.

However, I will pray that your dr. is like my second one -- the endo specialist -- who knew exactly what he was doing and made it almost painless for me.

Lots of prayers for you!
