Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've had a couple people explain it to me-and I still don't get it.

My current problem-I was replying to a post and went up to the former post to try and quote a passage. That opened a new reply box and my previous post was gone!

Could someone, please, explain it to me AGAIN?

And not just multiple posts in a single thread, but multiple threads?

Open a few browser windows, do the quote thing in several threads, and cut and paste. Or else, learn the code: [ quote=membername ] (remove spaces) here paste text you wish to quote [ / quote ] . Until I get code memorized, I put a Post It note on my monitor...helps the brain cells to train.

Jennifer-

your best approach would be to open a text editor and copy/paste each item you want to quote, one at a time. to acknowledge the appropriate author, simply put {quote=username} in front and {/quote} behind each section (replacing the curly braces with square ones). then copy and paste the entire text from your editor into a new post.

for a better idea of the formatting, click on the "Forum Codes" link that appears inside the "Post Reply" box at the bottom of this page and scroll down to the Quoting section.

feel free to practice some on this thread, if you'd like.

I think another topic we covered was cocoa/chocolate and then of course we had hot cocoa w/cinnamon . I borrowed a wooden puzzle of Mexico from a friend and the kids learned the states. They also learned some Spanish.

Let see if it works...
