my mother always had something strange and not very positive to say when i broke the news of our pregnancies (even though she loves her grandchildren dearly). this last one was the first time she had something nice to say. it was refreshing, to say the least.  i'll keep you in prayer and know that you are supported by so many of us even though we are part of this larger community. peace and love to you and your family.

Number 5 on the way for us in July! Its been a longer break since our twins, and it will be interesting, and fun, to have a baby around again, God willing!

it turns out I'm not expecting afterall. I have never heard of a false positive before. I'm devastated. But I'm trying to concentrate on the joy of the five children I have been given, and know that in His time, we will be blessed again in some way.
But right now it hurts.

Krystin,
I am so sorry, I know how hard the 'emotional swing' is. I once had a + home pregnancy test, only for my blood test to be <5. I could not understand how one test could be + and the next (blood test even!) be -. My midwife described it as a 'chemical pregnancy' where conception takes place, but something goes amiss at the time of implantation.
I am so sorry. God is Good - Always.

Please keep me in your prayers. We are expecting our 4th child in September after several years of secondary infertility! Our three children who are 8, 6 and 5 are soooooo excited. They have been praying for a new brother or sister for years. We prayed the St Andrew Christmas novena for this intention!
I am worried about my age--41-- and my HCG levels are a little low. I have an 8 week sonogram on Tuesday, February 8. Please pray that all looks well with the baby and that there is a strong heartbeat.

Baby 12 seems to be due early December! :) We found out yesterday. I haven't even had a 'real' period yet, (just some intermittent spotting for the past three months) but I suspected I was ovulating about 2 weeks ago. We haven't told the children yet, so those of you that know me off the boards, please don't let it slip, though knowing us, we'll tell them in a few days.
Now the issue is that my husband is scheduled to go to Rome the third week of November....
Ah well, it will work out. We are so excited!
