I am getting a few notifications of PM's from the 13th, (in my email) but when I go to my inbox, they are not there, although others are there from that date. are they lost for good?

actually I did just get yours Betsy (it was "missing" but now appeared??? but I am still missing one from Aussie Anne for sure that says "PM from Anne".
I noticed that my colors have changed as well. maybe because we are back to ordinary time??

Tim moved 4 Real to a new server yesterday. In order to minimize the number of posts lost in the interim, he moved the database on Sunday when the forum is closed. Any PMs sent during that time could have been lost.

He said to let him know if we hear any problems with regard to logins, e-mail notifications, or site performance, so I will make sure he sees this.

The color change is related to this move as well, in order to keep the backup visually distinct during the move.

Mary is correct. The forum database was backed up on the old server at approximately 3:50pm CST yesterday, and that backup was restored (think "loaded") on the new server late last night. Any forum activity that occurred during the interim would have been written to the database at its old home. This "lag time" was a necessary evil and I tried to keep it to a minimum.

That said, I still have access to the old database. If you absolutely NEED the contents of a PM that was sent during the afternoon/evening yesterday, I can retrieve it for you.
