Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I AM!!! YAAAAAAAYY!!!!

we hope to welcome #3 in March ... WOO-HOO and a big ol' PRAISE GOD!!!

and I want to all those who were so kind in their responses to my now-ironic lament about fertility and aging. God truly is amazing in how (and when) He answers prayers.

I gotta tell ya, this community has been such an inspiration, my DH and I are joking that we should call this one the 4Real baby.

Oh, Vivianne!!!! I'm thrilled anytime ANYONE announces, but I do remember your angst on this and your post!!!

Happy, happy tears for you and your family! God bless you!

Keeping all of you expecting mamas in my prayers, especially asking St. Gerard and St. Anne to intercede on your behalf for a healthy pregnancy!

We're expecting #5 (or "cinco" as my husband affectionately calls this new baby )! I'm only 6 wks, 5 days and we're due April 15, 2010.

Hi! We are expecting again! I haven't been officially dated yet, and quite frankly I wasn't watching my dates very closely, but best I can figure is that we are due mid-April.

We are expecting baby #8!!!
Tomorrow I'll be 15 weeks! I'm so glad to be out of the first trimester! I had spotting and cramping several weeks ago, but that seems to have gone away. I've had 4 miscarriages before in that first trimester, it's just limbo during that time.

We are due first week of March!

I'm slightly paranoid, dh would say overboard, with fear about getting the flu! I'm very nervous about this! Praying hard for a healthy pregnancy, healthy baby and healthy family!

Congratulations Kacky!

Yeah, several weeks ago I heard on the news that they were saying the H1N1 flu looked to be of particular concern for pregnant women, and I remember thinking, "Hey, I'm glad I won't have to worry about that at least." The next week I found out we were pregnant!

Yay Kacky - so happy for you. Will be praying. Make pots of chicken stock - lots of garlic will keep the flu away.

Ok, I haven't posted in forever so forgive me if I do this wrong or if I've posted this pregnancy already. I don't believe that I have yet. But with my "placenta brain" who knows.

I am due with my 9th baby (I lost one right before this pregnancy which I posted here). The baby is due around Feb.22, but will be a scheduled c-section so will probably come sooner.

Here's the thing. I am 20 wks and had a routine ultra sound to measure the baby, check that all was well and possibly see the sex. We didn't get to confirm the sex but they did see that I have a complete/total placenta previa. I was told to be on total pelvic rest and take it easy. They will do another ultra sound at 28 wks I think to see if it's moved (my doctor didn't have much hope for this because of it's position), and to decide how to proceed.

Of course I did exactly what I shouldn't have and did a google search. Looks like with my history of several surgical procedures on my uterus that I am at higher risk for placenta acrecia. Now I'm so worried. I was nervous before with the fact that I was having to have my 3rd c-section. Now I'm beside myself with anxiety.

I would greatly appreciate your prayers. I, myself, have been praying the prayer to Our Lady of LaLeche, St. Gerard and to dear St. Anne.

In the mean time I'm trying to stay busy with homeschool and family life.
