Hi everyone,
I just thought I would keep you updated on our current flu/H1N1 situation while I ask for prayers to continue.
We've all got some sort of flu now...While I drag myself around the house trying to cater to everyone's needs (y'all know I mean the hubby who turns into a child the minute he starts to sniffle, right?  ) I find myself very weary.
I missed Mass on Sunday, and this saddens me. I can't go to the grocery store...actually, nobody can. Besides, with the high fevers, coughs etc, nobody really feels like doing anything anyhow.
The children sound and look horrible.
Yes, even for a house full of teenagers. What part of being sick is it that turns everyone's brain to mush?
I'm tired, I'm weary.

We are there right with you, all the way down to making a chart of meds and nebulizer treatments (especially for the teenagers  )
I will be keeping you all in my prayers. It has been 2 full, totally sick weeks for us, but now it seems to be calming down--except for the cough which I was told can last for another month--
I have been leaning on the prayers from these dear 4Real friends and I know they will get you through this also.

Hang in there, Steph. It's such a cross to bear when Mama is sick while everyone else is, too! And this H1N1 business is ugly . I'm sending up prayers for you (and for Joann's family, too!) tonight.

Hey ladies. I don't know what the heck is going on around here, but I need more prayers again please...or should I say still?
I woke up this morning to some serious hemorrhaging, which in itself is weird because I've only had one cycle in the last....well, since our last miscarriage almost 2 years ago.
I can't go sit at the hospital in the waiting room...I'm afraid to get sick again, and of course my gynecologist isn't on call this weekend.
I'm in pain, leaking like a faucet and worried about what's going on. I could use some prayers to get me through until I can see my doc on Monday.

Another update folks.
I ended up spending the weekend in the ER (full of nasty germs again...please pray we don't get another flu bug or something in this house!).
After 15 hours of sitting there in pure agony, getting more pale by the hour they did some blood work, told me my results were fine and to go home until today (Tuesday) until I go back and see the gynecologist. (You know, it's all fine and dandy we have free health care in Quebec...but ya get what ya pay for at times, KWIM?)
I'll be going in this afternoon at 2pm Eastern. Knowing there is a family history of serious issues (Mom had fibroids, hemorraging, etc) I'm going to have to seriously discuss surgery. If y'all don't hear from me for a few days, it's because they kept me in the hospital today to do the surgery ASAP. Otherwise, I'll keep everyone posted.
Thanks for your continued prayers everyone. It's great to feel the power of every one of them comfort me while my mind races a mile a minute through the pain and worry.
God bless each one of you today for caring so much for this stranger you call sister and friend.
