Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Stellaluna by Jannell Cannon

I wasn't sure if this was mentioned before so I am off to find another "S" book in case or find Jenn's spreadsheet.

I have resorted to our library catalog for a Y title...since I am plumb out of Ys around here.

This actually looks cute! I think I will order it to find out!

I am going to jump in this "L" and get a book in that ends in "B" - we've only had ONE "B" so far!

And actually I can do two because they both start with "L" and end with "B" and have practically the same title ...

Little Lost Lamb - Golden MacDonald (Margaret Wise Brown alias), illustrated by Leonard Weisgard
or
Little Lamb - Kim Lewis

It's not my favorite Kim Lewis, but wanted to get one of her books in. They are the most adorable lamb, sheep, border collie books!

And Stellaluna would have been fine - it had not been used.

EDITED: I realized I could name a different Kim Lewis book using the silent "e" instead of "L" and still get the "B" ending. I like this book of hers better than the other (which is a board book).

Emma's Lamb

So even though I've managed to slip in 3 books - they all follow the rule and end in "B", so there should be no confusion - "B" is the next letter.

(signed, Mary who is proably breaking lots of rules... )

Thank, Mary!

To be honest.......I didn't really think it would happen on this thread......but those posts added up quite fast!

The other 4,970 posts probably say "I am praying for you!"

Blessings to everyone!

See you on Monday! (hey, how come none of our emoticons can wave goodbye?)

I haven't seen this one yet! Would this be good November/All Souls/Day of the Dead reading? We just really enjoy Jerry Pallotta's books.

while it might not have a direct connection to the Day of the Dead readings...it does have 26 skulls in a more normal manner than the Day of the Dead skulls

The way I connect things...I would add it to the book pile!
