Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

It looks really similar, Mary.

There is concrete repair I purchased, made by Quikrete which I will fill up some holes.

There is Masonry sealant, like Thompson's. After I get her stripped and filled, I'm going to assess whether to put a paint layer or just sealer.

The hardware said just a spray coat of Rustoleum would work, but I haven't read the label. I will put a sealant on after the paint, but it probably won't be masonry sealer.

I think I can't paint after the masonry sealant, though.

Will look into it further.

Returning to this thread as I recently ran across a DIY blog post about repainting a statue. It makes it sound so easy and the results are lovely. This young woman is a talented Catholic artist who I met last year. She taught an art class for our co-op but has since moved. Hope the tips are helpful for anyone attempting this. I was appreciative of the specific paint recommendations as I bet that makes a big difference in the finished product.

How to Paint a Statue with Professional Results

I saw this and you beat me to posting it here, Mary.

My poor statue sits half done outside. I was having such difficulty physically...found out later why. Hoping when the weather gets better I can finish.
