Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hello everyone,
My name is Angela, and I am a mama to two little ones. My dd is 5 and ds is 3. I am a relatively new Catholic...I joined the Church at Easter two years ago. My husband and I have been married 8 years this year, and he is not Catholic, though he is supportive of me and of raising the little ones in the faith. We pray that Daddy will join us someday:)
I will just be beginning homeschooling this Fall with the girl, and I am sort of a CM purist
I look forward to getting to know all of you and growing in faith!
Best,
Angela

Welcome, Angela! I am relatively new to the church too - 5 years - and my husband has not converted (yet!!) either. He is supportive of raising the children Catholic, but we would all love to see him join us! I will keep your husband in my prayers.

Greetings,

I'm Deb in NE. I'm a mom of seven plus two that are in Heaven (miscarriage) and grandmom to nine so far!

I actually decided to subtract to find out how long we've been homeschooling. This upcoming school year will be our 28th! (not a typo)

Our oldest went to government school for K-1 and then we've homeschooled from then on.

This upcoming year will be the first time since that first year that I'll only be teaching one.

Of course we've been all over the board as far as curriculum choices over the years. I now put our own together.

Thanks so much for accepting me!

Deb

Hi everyone! My name is Karra, wife to Dan, and mama to two little ones (so far!). I have a 4 year old daughter and 18 month old son. We started some very light preschool this year and I am very excited to continue. We live in central new york and would love to find more catholic homeschooling families in our area.

Thanks for the wealth of knowledge offered here!

Hi! I joined some months back but don't think I introduced myself. My husband and I have three lovely daughters. They are 23, 15 and 12. Next year, we'll be starting our seventh year of homeschooling. I'll have a 10th grader and 7th grader.

I've enjoyed reading all the posts here and look forward to being part of this community.
