Okay, I know you all are looking for a "d" book but this is a great "W" book and it ends in "W" so someone else gets a shot

Well, I'll swap you another "S" that ends in a "G" for your "G" title

Thank you, Melinda.
Gregory's Shadow by Don Freeman
It's another groundhog book. It's not as good as Norman the Doorman, but my children like it.

N is good, Chari. However, I need a "W" and you are all so quick at this! I could use a "B" too, now that my brain has clicked on.

The Squire and the Scroll by Josephine Nobisso
If you have young sons, this book is definitely worth owning. My boys really like it. That said, I think that I picked it up for $1 at a library book sale.

I was just going to post a start with "L" book that ended in "B" - we have only had ONE "B" and before that an "S" book that would help Tina get her "W", but Noooo....everyone is so fast. This is actually very funny - lurking at the computer just waiting to pounce...
