That is a relief! I have an X book, but it is purely 100% twaddle (from the Alphapets series). I kept thinking: don't make me post that!

Chari, that was one of the books I found when I searched!
To London! To London! by Barbara Willard, illustration by Antony Mattland, copyright 1968.
Found this in thrift store recently. The timing coincided with the Pope's visit to Britain, so this book was tremendously helpful in getting a glimpse of London and England.
N is next!

Strega Nona by Tomie de Paola
My children thoroughly enjoy listening to the Strega Nona books. It's time for an "A".

At least groundhogs aren't squirrels...which I shouldn't be saying since you all know I do like squirrel books.

I'm consciously picking ones that don't end in the letters that are coming up frequently, like s, r,n,t. "P" has only come up a couple time. Wish I would have had a starts "S" ends with "I" or "H" for you.

OK, I'll go with the pumpkin theme and say:
Pumpkin Jack -Will Hubbell
Which give us "K" - another less common letter.
And a great fall book - I love pumpkins and this is a fun book - science of decay in it, too.

The Weight of a Mass: A Tale of Faith by Josephine Nobisso
I am using the subtitle to give Chari that much wanted "H". I have been waiting for an "H" too. My children found a great, new to us, book at the library last week and the title begins with "H".

AGH! Groundhogs are like TEN TIMES WORSE.
We actually have a groundhog puppet and still laugh at them and think they are cute.
Except the ones in our yard
We once went away for a week and a groundhog moved in and LEVELED our garden while we are away. Then, its babies came. It's been a battle ever since. We relocated SIX groundhogs that year.
The one that plagued us this year was also the ugliest groundhog I've ever seen. Even as they are annoying, they are usually kind of cute. But this monster was most unprepossessing: big, long pointy nose, funny grey color around his nose, and terribly stubborn refusing to succumb to the lure of the trap for weeks on end

A favorite! But out of print and costs an arm and a leg.
