Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Yes, an untapped source of "C" endings we didn't think about...

Next book:
Legend of the Indian Paintbrush - Tomie dePaola

Gotta take advantage of the silent "e" rule or we'll be overwhelmed with "E"s.

My current goal is to find books which end in less used letters.

HOW TO MAKE AN APPLE PIE AND SEE THE WORLD by Marjorie Priceman

(I am on a lunch break )

I know logically that is is necessary for such an extended game....but it is still hard for my gamey brain to wrap around it

Counting Crocodiles. Wait. I thought it was the beginning of the last word you had to match, not the end ... ?

Rechenka's Eggs by Patricia Polacco.

One of our Easter favorites. It's a bit inaccurate on how to write pysanky, but the Reading Rainbow episode that covers this book shows the author making authentic pysanky. Her book Chicken Sunday more accurately portrays how to do it.

The Tomten and the Fox by Astrid Lindgren

Now for "X".

If there isn't one that starts with "X", we could just go with The Tomten by Astrid Lindgren.

I was thinking earlier of another book that ended with "X" and thought "That would be a game ender!"

But then I thought someone surely has a title or two? I haven't seen any in real life, although I've come up with a few hits of titles beginning with X.

I didn't think. When I did, I came back to edit it and give the option of the Tomten.
