Dear Anne
I am praying for your precious little girl. As a burn victim (hot tea a few years ago) - I feel so bad for her and for you. I have had the same thing happen with my Vitamix - thankfully with just cold liquids. Aloe Vera is great for relief - but I second the Silvadene - it worked wonders for pain and healing.
The good thing about baby skin is that it heals quickly.
Hugs my friend. We will be imploring Saint Anne's intercession this week.

If you have any of the mexican vanilla {like the red rooster one} pour it on and let it air dry - it will help stop the blistering and scarring. It works best put on right away, but works anytime.
Learned that trick from my 4-H home ec teacher as I was forever burning myself cooking {and still do!}

Oh, Anne, I'm just seeing this and praying. Glad the eye itself was not involved. Still burns are painful. Children do heal faster than adults and our prayer is that your precious little one heal quickly and well. I'll ask my little guy to pray too - he ended up with burn treatments from superheated water in the microwave so he will identify.

Praying for your sweet little girl. My son was burned when he was 2... grabbed a pot of boiling water off the stove. He was at the burn unit for 2 weeks, skin grafting and all.
May Our Lady and St. Ann pray for a speedy healing and as little pain as possible for your little one.

Dear Anne, continuing to pray for your daughter and so glad that the eye is o.k. Praying for quick healing and comfort for Annuncia.
Silvadine did work wonders for our little daughter who was burned by a sparkler this past 4th of July.
